Familycare Medical Centre, Nakuru VCT rated the best in data collection in Nakuru District.
Since Year 2005 Familycare Medical Centre, Nakuru VCT was awarded the best VCT in the country, the center matches on in offering quality services. The center has been accredited as a quality VCT center again from 2008 to 2010. The VCT was rated the best by the Ministry of Health in all clinic data collection in 2008. The site has maintained quality services due to adhering to the VCT code of ethics including counseling supervision sessions hence safeguarding client welfare. There is a post test club which brings clients who have been tested together. Such forums provide support in capacity building, sharing challenges and supporting each other to be better persons. There is also a support group for people living with HIV/AIDS to provide support and care on issues related to HIV/AIDS. Networking has assisted us to maintain and support our clients.
