Nakuru Youth Centre
The Center is an initiative of Family Health Options Kenya and was started in 2001. The main objective is to oversee and facilitate the reduction of Sexual Reproductive Health (SRH) related incidences among the young people between the ages of 10-24. Like other FHOK’s Youth Centres, Nakuru Youth Centre strives to create awareness and build the capacity of all the youths to be able to protect themselves from Reproductive Health related incidences including HIV and AIDS. The Centre operates within Nakuru municipality which is divided into five divisions according to the Youth centre's operations: namely; Kiti, Langalaga, Mwariki, Shaabab and Bondeni. The Youth Centre serves an estimated population of 101,000 young people.
