FHOK youth centre Nakuru is an integrated youth program of the Family health Options Kenya (FHOK) and strives to achieve the mission of the organization, the centre is charged with the goal of ensuring that all adolescents and young people are aware of their sexual reproductive health rights, are empowered to make informed choices and decisions regarding their sexual and reproductive health and are able to act on them. The Youth Centre which is a clinic based model began in the late ninety’s as one of the listenership centers under the youth variety show program aired on KBC and became a full centre in 2000 when there was increased demand for ASRH services.
The youth centre is located within the Family care
medical centre Nakuru facility along the oginga odinga road market road junction (near menengai high school). The youth centre operates within Nakuru County with concentration of the municipality and is at the fore front in championing for issues of sexual reproductive health of young people within the county.

Currently the centre is implementing a global funded project which aims at increasing access to counseling and testing to the youth in Kenya.
The youth centre has fostered healthy partnerships with other organizations that compliment its activities; currently our partners include Digital opportunity trust who provide ICT lessons, Red cross Nakuru branch, rift valley school of hairdressing as a focal unit in their peer education program.
