Female sex workers are at risk for HIV and STIs infections due to lack of knowledge on preventive measures and inability to negotiate safer sex. Interventions targeting these highly vulnerable women are urgently needed. Even in a mature epidemic, as is the case in Nairobi, interventions targeting Most at Risk Population (MARPS) may still have an impact on the HIV prevalence in the general population.

FHOK partnership with UNFPA is implementing HIV prevention project aimed at reducing HIV and STI prevalence amongst female sex workers and increase access to family planning and enhance behavior change.
